Issi Dye hosted, what was a great night of entertainment featuring Adam Williams as the great Buddy Holly. The resemblance is remarkable as you will see in the pictures, the music was marvelous and it brought back memories for a lot of the members. The night was enjoyed by everyone with a number hitting the dance floor for a crack at winning a bottle of champagne.

The food prepared by Chef Glen and his crew was nothing short of brilliant.

Roast pork, Cajun Chicken in a delightful Bourbon Cream Sauce, Roast Turkey, Baked Potatoes, Pumpkin and Sweet Potato, superb gravy, Fresh Vegetables in Honey and Herb Butter, Leg Ham carvery, fresh bread rolls and butter. To top the plate off you had a choice of grilled vegetables in a balsamic dressing, garden salad, coleslaw in cocktail dressing and Caesar Salad.

And for the sweet tooth there was a choice of Xmas Pudding with Bundaberg Rum Custard, Fruit Crumble, Homemade Trifle with Raspberry Custard, Sherry Fruits, Savoyardi Biscuits, Custard Cream and Homemade Honeycomb, Baked Lemon and Lime Cheesecake.
